KULLAMAA TALU MESI
Kullamaa Farm Honey
Four generations of beekeepers from Kullamaa — a family tradition that has lasted for over a century.
Our origins
The history of beekeeping in Estonia stretches back over 2,500 years. Our ancestors were already familiar with honey in prehistoric times — as evidenced by the ancient terms ‘mesi’ and ‘meemõdu’. Even the valiant chieftain Lembitu was known as the Baltic region’s greatest exporter of honey.
Our family’s beekeeping tradition has spanned four generations. At Kullamaa Farm, nestled in the heart of Järva County’s countryside, we have preserved the wisdom of traditional beekeeping, using the Farrar hive system alongside modern beekeeping equipment.
Today, Villa Honey Ltd brings fresh, unprocessed Estonian honey straight from the hive to your table — with no middlemen and no artificial additives.
Life in the apiary

Inspecting hives, smoking them and extracting honey — our daily routine in our white protective suits.
Our principles
🌿
Our honey is neither heated nor filtered. All the natural enzymes, pollen, propolis and vitamins are fully preserved.
⭐
Every batch of honey is carefully inspected. We only bring the very best quality honey to market — that is our promise, one that four generations have upheld.
